In 2022, Austria revolutionized its digital identity landscape with the launch of “eAusweise,” a cutting-edge digital ID platform available on iOS and Android.

Developed by youniqx Identity AG, the app was expanded continously and allows citizens to download and access digital documents like driver’s license, digital vehicle registration, digital age verification and digital proof of ID. youniqx Identity also provided a compatible verifier app for iOS and Android.
