Data Protection Statement for the MIA Demo System

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, DSG, TKG) [General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, Data Protection Act, Telecommunications Act] and on the basis of your personal consent. In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our MIA Demo system, in particular about the extent of your consent in the handling of your data by us and the possibility of the revocation of your consent.

General

Your personal data is collected from you personally.

Here, our processing of your data, in particular for the purpose of providing a MIA Demo system, will only take place in accordance with the following declaration of consent, which you have had explained:

“I agree that youniqx Identity AG, Vienna, may process and use my personal data collected for providing a MIA Demo system. I know that I can revoke this consent at any time.”

The following data may be collected for this purpose:

  • Phone number(s)
  • Driving License
  • Vehicle Registration Card
  • Health Card
  • Statistical evaluation of the app usage

Your data will be deleted, as soon we are notified, of you no longer using our service.

We store you personal data in the Amazon-Cloud. This service is part of the “Amazon Web Services” (AWS) and is operated by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 5 rue Plaetis, L-2338 Luxembourg. Amazon Web Services is part of the “Safe Harbor” program. You can find additional information under http://aws.amazon.com/de/ and https://aws.amazon.com/de/privacy/.

For the distribution of the app, your firstname, surname and eMail address are forwarded to Hockey App (operated by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399 USA) and iTunes Connect (operated by Apple Inc. One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, California, USA,95014) weitergegeben. Both companies adhere to the U.S. Privacy Shield.

Log data

For technical reasons, data is automatically transmitted (e.g. date and time of access).

All of this data is evaluated by us exclusively for statistical and debugging purposes. It will not be passed on to third parties. There is no link between this data and other data. The data is regularly deleted after a statistical evaluation.

Cookies, analysis service

We and our potential partners and processors may use Firebase Analytics on our app and website. This is a web analytics service from Google Inc., USA (“Google”). Firebase Analytics uses “cookies” in order to allow for an analysis of the use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, the IP address of the customer/user will be first shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of the website retrieved in the context of the service video-based online identification, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operator and providing other services related to website activity and internet usage. Where applicable, Google will also transmit this information to third parties, where this is prescribed legally or as long as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. On no account will Google use your IP address in connection with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting their browser software appropriately; however, the customer acknowledges that in this case not all features of the website may be fully usable. Users can also prevent cookie storage and cookie-generated data collection related to the use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as prevent Google from processing this data, by downloading and installing a plug-in which is available via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. By accepting these terms and conditions, the customer agrees to the processing of the data collected about him by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above. By setting a so-called opt-out cookie, the customer has the opportunity to prevent any form of user analysis on the website retrieved in the future. As long as the customer does not delete this cookie in the browser, an analysis of the user behaviour will remain undone. The customer also has the option to re-enable web analytics for the website. It is not possible to deactivate Firebase Analytics in the app.

Your rights, in particular to revoke consent

If you revoke your consent in whole or in part to the processing of your data with effect for the future, we will delete your data without delay, subject to statutory storage requirements to the extent desired by you.

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and opposition. If you believe that the processing of your data violates the data protection law or that your data protection claims have been otherwise violated in any way, you can complain to the data protection authority as a supervisory authority within the meaning of GDPR.
